Whether you like it or not, your client list needs to continue to grow for your business to grow. Invest time to grow your client list with these helpful hints:. 1. Call backs - remember that client from a few months ago? Give them a call and see how they are doing. Encourage them to refer you to their friends. 2. Join a local business association - Networking is a good way to get your business out there in front of those that may need your services. Look for meetings of attorneys, business owners, and others in your area and make a point to visit with them. Carry plenty of business cards with you. 3. Welcome new businesses in your service area - Watch the chamber of commerce site, local news, and notice new businesses in your area. Welcome them to the neighborhood with a personal visit, nice email, or send them a card in the mail. (You know, you use an envelope, write a street address on it and stick on a stamp:-)
4. Network with your colleagues - Visit with your colleagues often. They may have leads on clients they are not interested in or may be a referral for you one day. Check out your state association, if not a member already, and network. All these ideas can fall into the realm of marketing. You have the skills, abilities and knowledge, sell it!!!
